Not yet done… The Election 2007
May 14, 2007Hopefully, I've finished voting. I was so nervous that time. My hands we're shaking while selecting candidates. My penmanship was different from the one I'm used to. Coincidently, one of the officials there was my former choir master in Muntinlupa National High School. He guided me what to do with his instructions. Then, after I've finished writing, I dropped the ballot inside the ballot box and have my right index nail stained with indelible ink. But still, I'm not yet done. I have to pray for the continous peace and order. Hope to hear a good news!
I am the Future!
I feel so overwhelmed that this day, May 14, 2007, is my first time to vote. I'm really blessed that at the exact age of 18, I'll be able to use my rights to vote. (Yung iba kc hndi xakto ung age, ex. 19 yrs old na or above, hindi pa nakakaboto.)
Well, I'll never waste this chance to choose the right candidates. Here in Muntinlupa, the oppositions weren't fair. Campaign should stop at exactly 12 midnight of May 12 but here, something's wrong. They go house-to-house and buy their votes. But it doesn't stop there. They won't let them vote instead use their names and let anybody vote for them, surely for the opposition. I won't tell names here, but I know you know who they are. I'm not telling this because I hate them or I'm a pro-administration but rather to speak my mind as the future of this city. I just want Muntinlupa be a better place. I want to choose a candidate whom I won't have regrets in the future. I want somebody who is HONEST, CARING, INTELLIGENT, and GOD FEARING.
I won't waste my vote for people who had the position, and use the funds for the next election rather than doing projects. Would you trust them if they say they'll do better? No!!! They portray DISHONESTY!!!
Let's just pray for this election… Hope that everyone made the right choice. GOD BLESS ALL MUNTINLUPEÑOS!!!
